Making Mistakes (again)

Being human means making mistakes. What you do after the mistake is made is what separates the mature from the immature. A mature person recognizes the mistake, takes responsibility for the mistake, and tries to fix the mistake. Write about a time you made a mistake. How did you solve the problem the mistake presented?

I made a mistake when I ran the lawn mower out of gas, and I knew it was my fault so I took responsibility for it. I couldn't leave it out in the rain so I pushed it back up our hill and parked it in our garage. That night it rained but the lawn mower was safe.

I spilt Gatorade on my floor so I stepped on it I thought that my foot would mop it up.
