50,000 Hits!

Last night someone from Ohio followed a link from My Ecoach and became the 50,000 visitor to our blog. It has taken slightly less than two years to reach the milestone. Thank you to everyone that has visited, linked to, or written comments on our blog.

What a wonderful, wonderful achievement for this fantastic blog. Its not an exageration to say that this is my favourite site from anywhere in the world, I always look towards it for inspiration and the numbers that it gets, and its success are richly deserved. Congratulations to from everyone here in New Zealand.

Mr. Webb, you have been an amazing inspiration to me. Your willingness to share yourself on other blogs has truly transformed my thinking about how I can share myself. I can honestly say that my class blog is better from having met you.

Mr Chamberlain, thanks for the kind words. The collaborations that our classes have worked on have been very much appreciated and yourself, your school and your fellow teachers I am sure are celebrating the success of this site. 50,000 in two years is an amazing amount of traffic.

Thanks so much!

I was just wondering what it is like to use a blog in the classroom? How do your students use it? Do your students like having a class blog? What made you decide to create a class blog? Are their parents able to check the blog? In what ways do you think your class benefits from having this kind of technology in the classroom?

Thanks Again!
