Reflections on Typing

Below is the audio to my fifth hour keyboarding classes first attempt at reflection. As you can tell from the audio, they obviously are not used to reflecting (at least in a classroom setting.)

Because I know reflection is an incredibley powerful part of the learning experience, I know that I need to continue to help them develop this skill. Even in keyboarding I can help my students become better, more reflective learners.

Reflecting is often work. I am impressed that you are including an actual block of time in your students day for this. Reading and commenting on blogs has been helpful for me in reflecting and it has helped me to grow both personally and professionally.

@Gail I truly believe that reflection is a huge part the learning process. I would love for it to be more incorporated in lessons. BTW, you may notice as the school year passes my blog will reflect my belief (I plan to get teacher reflections on the blog as well!)
